Vice President - Research - Oil Services, Equipment and Drilling (NY, NY) for Evercore Partners Services East LLC to prep research reports, monitor sector news flows, & perform fin'l & valuation analyses on covered companies & their industries. Reqs Bachelor's deg in Bus. Admin, Finance, Chemical Engg or rltd field of study, & 5 yrs of exp as Associate, Consultant, Analyst or rltd jobs in a quantitative field in Finance, Bus. or rltd field. Will accept Master's deg & 2 yrs of exp in lieu of Bachelor's deg & 5 yrs of exp. Exp specified must incl 5 yrs of exp (or 2 yrs of exp if Master's deg) w/ each of the following: Research, explaining mkt events utilizing quantitative & analytical skills; MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint); Fin'l modeling; Utilizing general acctg & finance principles; FactSet, Bloomberg, & absolute & relative valuation model; Research Resources: Bloomberg & Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Visible Alpha, S&P Global, incl Petrodata & RigBase, Enverus, Spears & Associates Mkt Data, News subscriptions (WSJ & Upstream Offshore), Company / govt / mkt sources (Int'l Energy Agency, US Energy Info Admin, & Baker Hughes), Wood Mackenzie, & Alpha Sense.
