Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Vice President to join a high-performing research team based in either Chicago or New York City. The Vice President will play a critical role in supporting and expanding coverage across Technology, FinTech, or CleanTech companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fundamental research, financial modeling, valuation analysis, report writing, client engagement, and mentoring junior team members. This individual will serve as a key contributor to investment recommendations and thought leadership while helping maintain and enhance the firm's research product.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
Conduct fundamental research on publicly traded companies within the Technology, FinTech, or CleanTech sectors.
Build and maintain detailed financial models, including earnings forecasts, operating metrics, and valuation analyses.
Perform company, industry, and competitive analysis utilizing public filings, management meetings, industry contacts, and third-party data sources.
Develop investment theses and formulate actionable investment recommendations.
Author earnings previews, earnings reviews, initiation reports, thematic research, and industry updates.
