Description

Independent retail pharmacy seeking a New York–licensed Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with NY State Board of Pharmacy, NY DOH, and DEA regulations.

Responsibilities

Serve as PIC per New York State regulations
Ensure regulatory, professional, and operational compliance
Oversee pharmacy policies, procedures, and recordkeeping
Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and interns
Act as primary contact for inspections and audits

Requirements

Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
Eligible and willing to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) per NYS regulations
Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience (independent pharmacy preferred)
Strong knowledge of NY State pharmacy law, NY DOH, and DEA regulations
Ability to oversee pharmacy operations, compliance, and staff supervision
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
No active disciplinary actions on pharmacist license
