Responsibilities
- Increase sales of MSA FGFD products and services at corporate pharmaceutical and biopharma accounts
- Ensure that MSA is on the approved vendor list (AVL) for capital projects at all major pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical accounts
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with subject matter experts at targeted corporate pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical accounts
- Employ organizational mapping at pharmaceutical and biopharma accounts in order to gain a better understanding of their operations and key decision makers
- Develop a target list and work with key engineering firms that specialize in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets to ensure MSA is put in the best position to win projects
- Have a deep understanding of key processes within the market so you can become a trusted advisor to key personnel.
- Be looked upon by the FGFD sales team as an expert in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market
- Develop a selling strategy that puts MSA FGFD in the best position to win
- Derive creative, cost-effective solutions for our customers and potential customers
- Provide customers and potential customers with both technical and application information through product demonstrations, presentations and seminars
- Increase sales of MSA FGFD products and services at corporate general industry accounts and potentially waste water accounts
- The same responsibilities listed above for the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical market will also apply to general industry and waste water target accounts
- Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight
Qualifications
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
This position is available at numerous levels depending on experience and education:
- Sr. I: 3 years sales experience
- Sr. II: 4 years sales experience
- Sr. III: 5 years sales experience
- Sr. IV: 6 years sales experience
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Experience selling innovative industrial products and solutions into the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market
- Demonstrated selling and technical skills at corporate accounts
- Proven ability to organize and present technical products and demonstrations to large groups
- Proven planning and organizational skills, with the ability to be both a self-starter as well as work compatibly within a team
- Demonstrated capabilities of exceeding sales and profitability goals
Strong organization, communication (including written and verbal technical and non-technical), interpersonal and management skills.
